Instead of the term “schizophrenic,” they prefer the expression “voice-hearer.”
Twice a month, they gather around Virginia. She has set up and runs a discussion group for people suffering from this disease, reputed to be incurable and whose name alone triggers all the fantasies of madness. With her, they recount their lives with the voices in their heads.
Au terme de schizophrène, ils préfèrent celui d’entendeur de voix. Deux fois par mois, ils se réunissent autour de Virginia qui a créé et anime un groupe de parole destiné à des personnes atteintes de ce mal réputé incurable, et dont le seul nom incarne tous les fantasmes de la folie.
Avec elle, ils racontent leurs vies avec des voix dans la tête. Les débats et échanges qui suivent témoignent d’une recherche commune pour vivre mieux avec des troubles qui ne les quitteront sans doute jamais. Des troubles qui, contre toute attente, touchent également Virginia. Discussion animée entre entendeurs de voix propose une immersion au sein de ce groupe
