Breakpoint tells a 200 years story.
Two centuries of industrial and economic revolutions, from the times of coal mining to the Big Data era.
The story relies on the choices dictated by “progress”, usually accepted with enthusiasm by the people,
but mostly decided with other interests.
Jean-Robert Viallet draws an epic human saga of this amazing development,in hindsight playing with the propaganda archives, but terrified by the environmental consequences.
« L’Homme a mangé la Terre » nous raconte une histoire de 200 ans.
Deux siècles de révolutions économiques et industrielles, de l’ère du charbon à celle du big data.
Ce récit retrace le cheminement de choix faits au nom du «progrès».
Généralement reçu avec enthousiasme par les peuples, il est souvent guidé par d’autres intérêts…
Jean-Robert Viallet retrace une épopée humaine au développement fascinant,avec un recul qui s’amuse des archives de propagande, et terrifié par les conséquences environnementales.
